About Us
John Siddle has been repairing rugs since 1973, when he learnt his skills from Mehdi, the local rug repairer from the beautiful bazaar in Shiraz. Charlotte Craig, started repairing rugs in 1978. After a career in project management, she has now gone back to this ancient craft, and does repairs from her home in the South of France. More recently, John and Charlotte decided to pass on these valuable skills and traditions to others, and now run workshops to teach students how to make Persian rugs. Lessons in repairing rugs can also be carried out on request.
